Kirby Residence

This loft apartment in the heart of Clerkenwell needed a serious makeover and I started by opening up the entrance hall, replacing a solid fire door with a pair of specially designed double doors and adding a wonderful map mural to an existing curved wall.

Brickwork was exposed in the main living area, a new open plan kitchen fitted and a wooden floor reclaimed from a squash court added to finish the look. Throughout the flat I used various interesting up-cycled Italian furniture pieces along with a pair of custom painted Andrew Martin Chesterfield sofas.
