Rose Residence

This project involved the total remodelling of a Victorian worker’s cottage unusually spread over 4 floors, due to its location on a steeply sloping site. The existing property had been completely gutted in the 1980’s leaving very few traces of any original features.

With a fairly limited budget I set out to create an environment completely tailored to the homeowner’s way of life, establishing a feel of mild eccentricity combined with a sense of historic authenticity.

The existing top floor bedrooms were combined with the loft space to create a stunning double height living room and studio.
